Brief Description

The National Action Plan to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings (2022–2025) sets the framework for Denmark’s work to address human trafficking. The plan strengthens outreach work for victims, especially within prostitution, through Government-funded NGOs, and upgrades specialized accommodation for female victims of trafficking. It also places a stronger emphasis on investigating and prosecuting perpetrators. The plan is supported by a budget of 118.2 million DKK for 2022–2025, representing an increase of over 7 million DKK annually compared to the previous plan for 2019–2021.
